The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season will play its final round this week and there is still so much to play for. Finding the right guys with a lot to play for is the goal in the FabFive Challenge.
The easy path is to find the teams with big games ahead and there is no shortage of them. On the other hand, sometimes with teams on their way out, players may be unleashed and go out with a bang. You need to find the perfect mix to get the most points.
With that in mind, here are some FabFive suggestions for Round 34:
Range 1 (0 to 3.99) – He’s averaged 7.0 in his last two games, his team is facing a must-win situation and he’s facing his former team. All these are great reasons to bet on Tarik Black of Zenit St Petersburg, who averaged 11.0 per game just two seasons ago with Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and was signed mid-season for big games like these.
Range 2 (4 to 7.99) – You can count on Vassilis Spanoulis to bring it in Olympiacos Piraeus’s final game of the season, which could well be a high-scoring affair against Khimki Moscow Region, as the EuroLeague’s all-time leading scorer continues to pile on the numbers.
Range 3 (8 to 11.99) – Nikola Kalinic is a man for big games and his Valencia Basket squad faces its biggest game of the season this week in a do-or-die contest against TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz.
Range 4 (12 to 14.99) – Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul star Jan Vesely is injured and Real Madrid will look to attack in the paint through Walter Tavares. The reigning EuroLeague Best Defender will look to carry Los Blancos on both ends of the floor.
Range 5 (15.0 or higher) – FC Bayern Munich still has plenty to play for and if it is going to beat league-leading FC Barcelona, guard Wade Baldwin will need to be at his best. He scored a career-high 29 points the last time these teams met.
Good luck in Round 34!
