SPARKS, Md. — SquadLocker, a leading provider of online tools and services for teams and organizations to manage custom apparel and equipment purchasing, has been named an official partner of the US Lacrosse National Team Development Program (NTDP). SquadLocker will be the “Official Apparel and Uniform Supplier” for the NTDP, including the USA Select teams.
“We’re really pleased to join forces with SquadLocker for the NTDP,” said Skip Lichtfuss, Director of National Teams & High Performance for US Lacrosse. “We’ve been impressed with the breadth and quality of services they provide and we look forward to them outfitting the nation’s top young players with best-in-class apparel to help our players maximize their experience.”
“We are excited to partner with US Lacrosse to provide high-quality custom uniforms and apparel for these elite youth athletes, coaches, and their families nationwide,” said Tiffany Omicioli, National Accounts Manager at SquadLocker. “While we expect to move beyond the extreme challenges we’ve seen in sports in 2020, we know this new year will be met with some hurdles. We are delighted to be supporting US Lacrosse to provide a direct-to-player custom gear solution for youth sports organizations and teams during these times and beyond.”
SquadLocker offers uniforms, team gear and spirit wear from more than 30 vendors that are decorated through sublimation, printing or embroidery. SquadLocker’s innovative solution makes apparel accessible to coaches, players, parents and fans through custom online stores that are open all season long, with no minimums, that ship direct to homes. All online store set-up, including unlimited custom art service, is free.
SquadLocker’s apparel solution eliminates excess inventory and streamlines the registration and uniforming process. SquadLocker offers best-loved brands for any budget and its admin dashboard offers helpful tools such as a roster tool, which enables one-click personalization for players, and a fundraising feature that allows store owners to apply an additional fundraising percent to their apparel to easily raise money for their teams without spending a dime upfront.
The NTDP, designed as a pipeline for the U.S. men’s and women’s national teams, launched its first full season in 2019. The inaugural year featured more than 1,300 of the nation’s top young lacrosse players participating in a three-stage process that culminated with the USA Select U15 and U17 teams sweeping the Brodgen Cup at US Lacrosse headquarters as part of the 2019 Fall Classic. The pandemic put the NTDP on pause in 2020, but plans are in place for a robust 2021 calendar.
SquadLocker is a virtual exhibitor at the US Lacrosse Convention where thousand of lacrosse coaches, officials and fans are experiencing the sport’s biggest trade show virtually from Jan. 15-16, 2021.
SquadLocker uses innovative technologies to reinvent the way sports leagues, teams, and schools design and purchase customized gear, including uniforms, spirit wear, and other apparel. Offering market-leading brands, the company manages the entire process – from instant online store creation to free graphic artwork assistance as well as decoration, production, and fulfilment – from its wholly-owned manufacturing facility. This makes it easier for league organizers and school administrators to manage sports and school programs, while coaches and teachers can spend more time mentoring and inspiring athletes and students.
