BMSD 2022 Day One Live: The opening night of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022 kicked off in full force. BMSD Day One Summary
Match 1
The opening match of the competition between Group A and Group B was played on the Erangle map. Team Soul and Team Orangutan have both been involved in a gigantic battle on numerous occasions previously, and this time Team SouL has been firmly dispatched by Orangutan. The final circuit included Hyderabad Hydras, OR Esports, Reckoning Esports and Team Kinetic. All four players fought Reckoning and were easily eliminated while two OR Esports finished Kinetic to form a 4v2 battle. Hyderabad Hydras made the most of their numerical superiority as they finished off Aditya and Aaru to grab WWCD. Below are the match rankings for the first match.
Match 2
The second match today was a repetition of the first match, but on the Miramar map. With a very dangerous and large stadium to survive, each team was too careful to take any chance in the early battles. Once again, fan favorite Team SouL was shown at the exit door where they failed again. Orangutan Esports With high floor feature also perfect it was favored by the area and got chicken dinner effortlessly. GODLike and Autobotz Esports tried to put in the resistance but failed.
Match 3
Group C teams appeared in Match 3 of the day for the first time as they played Group C on the Sanhok map. Esports looked great from the start and they were targeting back-to-back chicken dinner in Game Three. Team XO’s final got into the groove as they maneuvered into the zone. In the final circuit, they also had an advantage over OR Esports but failed to take the opportunity. Meanwhile, four OR players wasted no time and finished XO to grab a back-to-back chicken dinner.

Match 4
Back in Erangel for Game 4 of the day, all of the Group B and Group C teams were looking to collect much-needed points. However, things weren’t going well for crowd-favorite Team SouL as they first came out with another horror show. OR Esports failed for the first time as I only managed to get 1 point. The match came to a fitting end as 3v3 took the lead between Team XO and Hyderabad Hydras. The latter found themselves in a great position and made the most of it by using the perfect shells and sprays to easily grab a chicken dinner.
Match 5
The fifth match of the day was played between Group A and Group C on the Miramar map. With Team B absent due to group divisions, the other groups had a chance to climb the spots. The GODLike team had good outings on this map but had to settle in the middle of the table. It was an exciting contest between Team Hydra and Skylightz Gaming to finish the match, and the latter provided the perfect final touch to grab WWCD.
Match 6
The last game of the day saw all the teams from Groups A and C looking forward to a huge jump in points until the end of the day. However, it was a surprising match as all the popular teams exited early. The INS and Nigma Galaxy who lost in their opening matches find themselves in a final battle. With numerical superiority, the INS team found the perfect balance to finish Nigma Galaxy and claim WWCD.

Just like BGMS, OR Esports dominate the early stages of the competition as they top the leaderboard after the end of the first day with 80. They are followed by Team XO and Hyderabad Hydras with 77 and 71 points respectively. Meanwhile, Team SouL had disappointing outings throughout the day as they finished 23rd.
