After the last 5 racing weekends where everything went wrong it’s very good to be back on top.
I feel sorry for Carlos because it should have been 1-2.

Red Bull’s Sergio Perez drops from a position in the drivers’ standings and takes third place after scoring another DNF against his name at the Red Bull Ring. He will be desperate to get a good result under his belt as he has scored two DNF’s in the last three races.
Meanwhile, Ferrari’s finish was promising the last time in Austria Leclerc took the win at Red Bull. But, misery continues for Carlos Sainz as he scored his fourth DNF of the season. He was comfortably looking for second place but an engine failure spoiled his race.

Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz finished fourth in the overall drivers’ standings with 133 points to his name. Furthermore, Ferrari finished second in the constructors’ championship with 303 points.
Things looked well for the Silver Arrows at the Austrian Grand Prix as Lewis Hamilton finished fourth on the podium this season and finished on a consecutive podium finish as he finished third at the Red Bull Ring.
Furthermore, George Russell placed fourth and continued his impressive run of finishing in the top five this season. Only once did he not finish in the top five and it was his home race where he had a multi-car crash on the first lap of the race.
Mercedes showed tremendous improvement and also faced off against Porpoising, who bothered them in the first half of the 2022 F1 season. They will wear a new nose design for the French Grand Prix as many pundits and former F1 drivers believe this is the Silver Arrow’s best chance for a victory this year. Meanwhile, Mercedes finished third in the Manufacturer’s Championship with 237 points, 66 points behind Ferrari.
